A Message from our Minister Where do you get your inspiration in life? Perhaps from your family or your friends; perhaps your work is an inspiring place to use your talents; perhaps you get your inspiration from the natural world and its awe inspiring beauty. In St George’s we get our inspiration from God; the one who entered our world in Jesus, died on a Cross and rose again to life. What an inspiring man Jesus was as he boldly proclaimed his message in the face of an occupying power; as he took on the religious establishment of the day exposing their tendency to put rules and regulations before people; as he healed people and cared for all who crossed his path; as he taught great wisdom to the world using inspired word pictures which held great truths; and, in all this, but especially on the Cross, demonstrating God’s love to the world; showing us how much God loves us and how invaluable we are; and, crucially, showing us the way to God is open to all.
